Dr. Mark Brantly at the University of Florida Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Division is conducting a research project on lung changes in smokers and non-smokers.

Participants must be: age 35 or older and in generally good health be willing to make two clinical visits, including an overnight stay, to Shands Hospital during their participation in the research be willing to participate in a bronchoscopy procedure (inserting a lighted tube into the lungs to visualize lung changes) once during the study Participants will be compensated $300 for completion of the study.
